Silver lining but also Unfortunately, the next couple vlogs are probably going to be real simple "I'm sick, I'm in bed, it sucks, i played a video game in bed. Lets meet back hopefully less sick tomorrow" so he probably will catch up easier once he can work on them. Hope you get better soon Stephen! Good luck staying not sick Mal!
I don’t really know how to cook but I don’t really know how to cook. I’ve certainly never cooked chicken before. Time to learn I suppose. I want to make pickle chicken.
Im curious how salty their pickebrine is, ‘cause when I visited the US I tried a pickle that was salty af.. and that would make more sense when they say it gives lots of flavor to the chicken, much more than what I think would happen if they marinated in the sweet n sour brine I’m used too. 😅
Oh no, you brine the chicken in it before you cook it, anywhere from a couple hours to overnight. Follow the recipe in the description. Chef John won't steer you wrong!
I want to say pickle-chicken is what makes Chik-Fil-A so good (I'm not an insider, just making a guess). I don't like pickles but I do like Chik-Fil-A si assuming that's true, I might just keep pickle juice around to try to make pickle chicken.
Only 4 days ago! Getting caught up!

I genuinely had no idea pickle chicken was a thing.
I buy the same vegetables from Costco! It's the best.
My mom really enjoys making asian pickled vegetables with leftover pickle juice.
Honestly I'm not into it though, I'll just take the regular pickles.

0:58 I just remembered all the predictions from the 90s that we would definitely have 3D Smell-o-vision by now.
Ayy birthday episode brings me Pickle Chicken.
I like pickles a lot! But alas I do not eat meat so I will have to imagine

You should try crab cakes
I'll try pickle chicken when you finish the Japan vlogs. Deal?
Bruh, don't wait! Mix the pickle juice with buttermilk, brine your chicken in it overnight, then dredge and fry it. You won't be sorry!
So, you pour the pickle juice in a pan and then add the chicken as well?
